The Austrian Microfluidics Initiative (AMI) WEBINAR on “Scientific Excellence in Microfluidics” took place on 16th November!
Carlos SÁNCHEZ-SOMOLINOS from CSIC gave interesting insights in the EU project „PRIME: A European Collaborative Project on the Next Generation of Active Microfluidic Devices“.
George TSEKENIS from BRFAA presented the „The NextGenMicrofluidics Platform: Development and Upscaling of Microfluidic Cartridges for LoC Nucleic Acid Amplification and Micro Array Detection“.
The project presentations were followed by teaser presentations of the AMI chairs:
- Torsten MAYR presented for Peter ERTL (TU Wien): Innovations in Microfluidics
- Torsten MAYR (TUG & PYROSCIENCE): Application Potential in Microfluidics
- Günter LEPPERDINGER (PLUS): Teaching and Education in Microfluidics
