Several AMI members presented their technologies at the event “The Next Generation of Microfluidics: linking expertise across Europe, coordinated in Austria” held in Graz on 26 March 2025.
As a satellite event of Health Tech Hub (HTH) Styria, the event showcased outcomes of the H2020 Open Innovation Test Bed NextGen Microfluidics upon its completion. The project served to establish a single entry point for microfluidic innovation through the Microfluidics Innovation Hub.
After presentations from demo cases and open call awardees using the services of the NextGenMicrofluidics partners and MIH, the final session brought together exciting players in the Austrian microfluidics landscape. Martin Smolka of JOANNEUM RESEARCH introduced AMI, and was followed by AMI member Torsten Mayr presenting Pyroscience and Technische Universität Graz, Sara Sofia Deville presenting Sarcura, Felix Spira presenting Molecular Devices, and Stefan Köstler presenting elyte diagnostics GmbH. The event was organized and moderated by Caitlin Ahern of BNN.
Intermixed were hands-on demonstrations, posters and networking. We were thrilled to be together for this impactful event!
